Exclusive Interview with the Bride and the Groom!

How We Met

Fedora and Tony attended the same church, Hope Church, where they didn’t really know each other. But call it a twist of fate, destiny or, truth be told, God’s work, in 2019 Fedora and Tony ended up in the same church lifegroup together where they first met each other and began to know each other. She was a graduate Pharmacist and he was a university student.

Tony: So what was your first impression of me?

Fedora: Honestly, you were just a kid to be honest. Just playful and immature, like a little brother to me.

Tony: Ouch that hurts. And not a lot of people know this but I actually had a crush on you back then. To be honest my first impression was that this girl is kinda pretty.

Fedora: So you only liked me because of my looks back then?

Tony: Next question!

As time passed, their relationship was nothing more than a simple friendship. Nothing more. Feelings disappeared. Conversations were nothing special. Eventually Fedora moved to a different church lifegroup and their interactions dwindled into just passing hellos in church. But at the beginning of 2022, the combination of a girl developing feelings and a guy needing his yearly flu vaccine would change their relationship forever!

Fedora: So embarrassing to talk about!

Tony: Who would've thought my yearly message about getting a flu vaccine was around the same time you started liking me. Does this mean that you made the first move?

Fedora: Well, technically you were the one who started the conversation. So you made the first move!

Tony: But you were the one who kept the conversation going!

Fedora: Let’s just say you made the first move.

Tony: Oh ok, yes Ma’am!

Popping the Question

Fast forward almost 2 years and the two lovebirds continued sharing their life together. Going on dates, eating good food, cooking together. But it wasn’t without hardships, there were some rocky times, arguments and moments of hurt; however, through it all, Fedora and Tony walked through every hurdle together and came out on top with a stronger love for each other. Then on a quiet night in October, a single question marked the beginning of their forever.

Fedora: I still can’t believe that night!

Tony: I know right! You thought you were going out for dinner with Lisiew, but instead you got a ring on your finger.

Fedora: To be honest, I was already suspicious when Lisiew asked me to dress up for dinner. She and I never dress up when we meet for dinner!

Tony: To be honest, with how good you are at sussing things out, my goal was to make it a surprise up until the day at least, not in the moment.

Fedora: I’m just too smart with these things. But it was still a memorable night!

Tony: I love you babe.

Fedora: I love you too babe.

The Acre Boomerang Farm

Guest arrival will be at 2:30pm.
The ceremony will start at 3:00pm at the Ceremony Lawn. Do enjoy the canapes and drinks right after the ceremony. Reception will start at 6:00 pm.

Nestled in the serene Gold Coast Hinterland, The Acre is an all-in-one wedding destination at the iconic Boomerang Farm. With its rustic charm and historic elegance, The Acre features lush ceremony locations, surrounded by tropical gardens, and a beautifully restored 1902 reception barn.

Registry

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to give, a monetary contribution will be appreciated. It will greatly assist us as we embark on this new chapter in our lives.

Dress Code

As we celebrate this special day, we invite you to dress in formal wear; however, in a manner that makes you feel great! So whether that matches our vibe or not, regardless we’d love to see you! And since it’s winter, don’t forget to bundle up and stay warm!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply can't afford for all our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Thank you for understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 15th June , so we can have an accurate headcount.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

You are welcome to! We also have a professional photographer documenting our special day for us, we would kindly appreciate if you don't get in their way.
